Mangaluru:  A 48-Year old women allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well, that happened on 31st July, Monday here at Bajal region of the City. 

The deceased has been identified as Jacinitha D'Souza d/o late Stany D'Souza and Helen D'Souza, a resident of Bajal. She was a spinster and third among five siblings.

Sources say, Jecinitha had left the house on Sunday morning and when she did not return in the night, her family got worried and started to search for her everywhere. Even the locals joined the search and on the next day morning, her body was found floating in a public well near Bajal.

A case was registered at Kankanady police station.
