Mangaluru: The Mangaluru city based youth breathed his last after two days long battle for life at a private hospital in the city on Saturday. The youth was seriously injured by his close four friends following quarrel over a trivial issue on 14th September midnight in an incident reported at Padil here.  

Kankanadypolice have arrested four youths inconnection with the death of the youth.

The deceased Nisarga (19) was a resident of Kodikal located near Padil in the city. He was reportedly beaten by his four friends Puneeth, Nikhil, Prakash, and Sharath near Padil Railway Bridge following a row over a negligible issue when they were returning home after Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebrations in the city. Seriously injured youth was admitted to a private hospital in the city. However, his condition turned critical and lost his life on Saturday.
