Karwar: The Congress leaders along with hundreds of workers took out a ‘Congress in every house’ campaign in their respective constituencies in the district on Saturday.

Ravikumar Shetty launched the programme in Honnavar town on Saturday along with Honnavar Congress president Jagadish Tengeri and other leaders. They visited the houses in many wards and made the residents aware of the achievements made by the Congress government in last four years.

In Karwar, MLA Satish Sail and other leaders participated in the programme held at Chitakula village near Karwar. Satish Sail said Rs 700 crore sanctioned to Karwar-Ankola constituency has helped in taking up road and bridge construction and other development works.

Anna Bhagya, farm loan waiver, construction of lakhs of houses under various hosing schemes and other programmes of the government have been helping the people in the state, they claimed.
