Bhatkal: Islamic Welfare Society of Bhatkal and the Bhatkal Welfare Hospital on Monday felicitated the Vice President of Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem and a well-known Dubai based Bhatkali businessman Mr Ateequr Rahman Muniri for his dedicated service towards humanity in the recent days.

In June this year, Mr Ateequr Rahman Muniri, studying the plight of the distressed people of Bhatkal and coastal Karnataka stranded in various cities of Dubai and UAE during Corona lockdown, brought nearly 350 people back home on two special chartered flights. He was also praised for providing a high-tech ambulance supported with oxygen and a ventilator recently.

On behalf of the Welfare Society, Maulana Zubair read out a thanksgiving letter. 

On this occasion, General Secretary of Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem, Maulvi Abdul Raqeeb MJ Nadvi along with the representatives of the Welfare Hospital including Ghufran Lanka, Vice President of the Welfare Society S K Salahuddin, Welfare Hospital accountant Hashim Kola and others were present.
