Ankola: A man identified as Gopal Tammu Siddhi, 49, fell into a ditch in Ankola on Sunday, which as a result he succumbed to it.

According to sources, Gopal was crossing the ditch when his foot slipped. He suffered a severe head injury, which resulted in his death.

A case has been registered in Ankola police station.
