Murdeshwar: A complaint has been filed at the Murdeshwar Police Station against a gang for allegedly assaulting a man, accusing him of informing police about illegal conspiracies.

The assaulted victim is identified as Raju Rama Naik (40), a resident of Murdeshwar. He sustained severe head injuries and is getting treated at Manipal hospital.

The accused are identified as Raju Madhav Naik (34) of Murdeshwar, Madhav Govind Naik (45) of Belke, Hrithik Madhav Naik (19), Kiran Madhav Naik (30) Santosh Ashok Naik (30), and Satish Mastayya Naik (31).

The further investigations are underway in this regard.
