Mangaluru: The enquiry officer in Magisterial Enquiry of December 19, Police firing in Mangaluru, G Jagadeesh on Friday said that the eye-witnesses or those with any information or inputs regarding the incident will be given one last opportunity to depose before the magistrate on August 11, Tuesday.

The officer who is also the Deputy Commissioner of Udupi District asserted that any person with any information or inputs regarding the incident can visit Mini Vidhan Soudha in the city on Tuesday and depose before him.

He further added that no further dates or opportunities will be given for deposition from the general public after August 11, thereby confirming that it will be that last such stance for people to depose. The last deposing was scheduled to be held in the last week of March which was then postponed owing to COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
