"Cow vigilantes are cow terrorists", says K L Ashok at Muwadi chalo rally

Kundapur: The secretary of KRKSV (Karnataka Rajya Komu Souharda Vedike) K L Ashok said that terror is being created in name of protection of cows and those who assault on people by such cow vigilantes for beef consumption are condemnable.

Ashok was addressing at the Muwadi Chalo rally on 12th June, Monday which was organized in town by the Federation of Karnataka Dalita Sangharsha Samiti which was to condemn the attack on people belonging to Koraga community in Muwadi.

He referred to these so called cow vigilantes as cow terrorists as they spread terror and disrupt the harmony between religions. He said that there was an incident where people in Muwadi were assaulted during a marriage engagement function by them.

He also added saying that the Sangh Parivar’s only motto or goal is to destroy the harmony between people of various religions and cause chaos. “They have no right to take the law into their own hands and play judge and jury that too on basis of one’s choice of food”, he said.

He also challenged the Union government to ban the export of beef to foreign countries if they have so much trouble with the consumption of beef.

“BJP and Sangh Parivar have been doing petty politics on the issue of beef consumption”, said the Dalita Damanita Swabhimani Horata Samithi convener B R Bhaskar Prasad.

Samithi's district president Uday Kumar Tallur presided over the programme. Shakuntala, one of the victims of Muwadi incident, Fr William Martis and Shabana Hangaluru were present.
