Kundapur: The Shankernarayana police arrested the headmaster of Hallihole Primary School near here under POCSO Act on 19th September, Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Srinivasa Joshi (59 yrs). Complaints were received by the police against him from his students.
According to the sources, a student of the school complained with her parents stating that the headmaster was abusing her sexually after which her parents went to the school to inquire about it.
A complaint was lodged by the parents with the education department and the headmaster admitted his fault in the investigations held by them.
A police complaint has been registered at Shankernarayana police station here under POCSO act and the accused has been arrested.
