Kumta: A major fire broke out at a house in Taramakki in Gokarna of Kumta taluk on Tuesday evening, due to bursting of five gas filled cylinders.

The house which gutted, belonged to Nagaraj Shanu. 

It is reported that there were seven gas cyinders in the house, among which five got bursted. Fortunately, there was no casualties.

As the information was alerted, fire fighters along with Gokarna police rushed to the spot.
