Kumta: Tablighi Ijtima concludes with prayer for world peace and unity

Kumta: The two-day Uttara Kannada district level Tablighi Ijtima (Islamic congregation) came to conclusion on 20th febraury, Monday, night after the mass supplications "Dua" (seeking blessings from the Almighty) with several Muslims participating in it.

The venue of the Ijtima, Kadle ground near Aghnashini road here at Kumta in Uttara Kannada district, reverberated with "Ameen" continuously during the 15 minutes of the "Dua". 

Maulana Farooque Saheb of Bengaluru, who conducted the "Dua" in a mixture of Arabic and Urdu languages, repeatedly pleaded to the Almighty Allah for the Muslim Ummah and humanity at large, which has gone astray, for forgiveness, mercy and guidance. The Maulana urged the Almighty Allah to grant peace and tranquility to humanity in this world and Hereafter. He sought divine blessings for peace, progress and unity of Muslim Ummah and mankind at large.

Squatting on the ground many of the people were seen sobbing inconsolably while tears rolled down the cheeks of others during the "Dua" as they chanted "Ameen" in unison after Maulana's each pleadings while remembering the sins they had committed in their lives by violating Allah's Commandments.

During their sermons, Moulana Farooque saheb appealed to the entire Muslim Ummah to obey the commandments of Allah Almighty, while following in the footprints of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). 

He also emphasized upon the participants to take the message of Allah Almighty and the holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) in every nook and corner of the world. The strength of faithful, who started thronging to the Pindal (tented place) since Sunday, touched the figure more than twenty thousands on the last day. 

The other Islamic scholars also stressed upon Muslims as a whole, particularly those present in the congregation, to dedicate their life to preaching Islam and following the religion wholeheartedly.
