Kumta: A 50-Years old farmer, while plucking the coconuts from a tree, unfortunately slipped and fell on the ground resulting in his instant death that reported near Chitrgi in Kumta. The incident took place on 22nd febraury, Wednesday here in Kumta. 

The deceased farmer has been identified as Rama Mukri, a resident of Baggon in Kumta. As per the information, the incident took place, when the deceased was plucking coconuts from a tree that belonged to Muhammad Iqbal of Kumta.

About the deceased, it was studied that he was survived with a wife and two sons, in which one of the son have expired around a week back due to ill-health.

The body of the deceased Rama was handed over to the family after conducting post mortem process at Kumta Govt hospital. 

A case has been registered in Kumta police station.
