Kumta: 15 persons were injured when a tempo toppled at Moraba NH 66 in Gokarna under Kumta taluk on Thursday.

According to sources, the tempo wa going towards Ankola from Haldipur to attend a family function in Keni in Ankola. More than 20 people were on board when the incident occured. Many children were seen crying soon after the accident.

Gokarna police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person into hospital with the help of locals.

Case has been registered in  Gokaran police station.
