Karwar: Four people were injured seriously after the bus in which they were traveling in went on landing in to a ditch and then hit a telephone pole, that happened on 29th May, Monday evening at Chendiya NH66 of Karwar in Uttar Kannada.

According to the sources, the incident reported when the bus axle got spoiled. Due to this the driver lost control of the vehicle and went on colliding the roadside telephone pole. The impact made four of the passengers to sustain grievous injuries, which were immediately taken to Karwar district hospital.

The bus belonged to KSRTC and was moving from Karwar to Ankola.

Police are conducting further investigations after filing the case at Karwar police station.
