Karwar: A youth was killed on the spot after he lost control over his bike and rammed it into an electric pole late night near Devaliwad in Karwar taluk recently.

The deceased was identified as Uttam Buniya (30) of KHB Colony in Karwar. Uttam met with the accident as his over-speeding bike hit the electric pole and he received severe injuries on his head. He died due to excessive bleeding.

Traffic police have registered a case.
