Karwar: A 50-Year old man reportedly died, after he went on slipping into a channel, that happened in Siddar gram limits in Karwar taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Anandu Vishnu Naik.

Sources informed that he had slipped into the Ajgeri channel in the Siddar village on 19th July, Wednesday, but the body was traced next day i.e on Thursday morning​.

Soon after hearing the incident, Karwar tahsildar rushed to the spot and examined the matter. 

A case has been registered in Karwar police station.
