Karwar: Mercury Ship Repairs Pvt Ltd of Karwar has been duped of Rs 6.34 lakh by fraudsters who contacted them through an e-mail sent using a duplicate ID of a foreign company.
Company Managing Director P V Prajeet has lodged a complaint in this regard with the District Cyber Crime police recently.
In his complaint, he has said that their company used to have business dealings with a foreign company named Denjit Nordic Denmark. Their company
would purchase the goods needed from this foreign company.
