Bhatkal: Shree Guru Sudhindra Degree College of Bhatkal and J G College Of Commerce of Hubballi emerged triumphant in Men and Women categories respectively in the Karnataka University Inter-collegiate Single Zone Shuttle Badminton Tournament, organized by Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce college and PG Centre, Bhatkal.

In Men category – winner up SGS College, Bhatkal, while SDM College Honnavar secured 2nd place and C S I College Of Commerce, Dharwad bagged 3rd place.

In Women’s category, first place bagged by J G College of Commerce  Hubballi,  SDM College Honnavar secured 2nd place and  Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce college and PG Centre, Bhatkal bagged third place. 

At the closing ceremony, Vice President of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Damudi Abdur Raheem, Istihaque Ruknuddin, Srinavas Padiyar, College Secretary Mohsin Shabandri, Principal Mustaque Shaikh, Physical Director K Kalemullah, Organizing Secretary Prof M M Jamadar and many others were present.
