Mangaluru: Traffic police station inaugurated by home minister Ramalinga Reddy

Mangaluru: The south traffic police station at Nagori in the city was inaugurated by the newly appointed home minister Ramalinga Reddy on 20th September, Wednesday.

The station was inaugurated in a rented house at Nagori here as the plaque was unveiled by the home minister and the traditional lamp was lit by various dignitaries. The ribbon was cut by the district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai.

This is the fourth traffic police station in the Police commissionerate and will consist of 2 sub-inspectors, 8 assistant sub-inspectors, 22 head constables along with 42 police constables. The East Police Inspector Suresh Kumar will be In-charge of the South Traffic Police station.

Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLA J R Lobo, MLA Mohiddin Bava and others were also present during the inaugural function.
