Kundapur: An incident was reported at Doopadakatte near Kandluru here, where the Kundapur Tahsildar escaped with minor injuries after his Bolero vehicle overturned trying to avoid hitting an Omni coming from opposite direction. The incident happened on 18^th July, Tuesday.

According to police sources, the Kundapur tahsildar G A Boraker was on his way to Kandlur on his Bolero. But in an attempt to avoid hitting an Omni Car, which was coming from opposite direction without any indication, this incident occurred.

The Omni car suddenly tried to take a turn and to avoid collision, the Bolero driver suddenly applied hard brakes and lost control of the vehicle which overturned.

Fortunately, the tahsildar escaped with minor injuries. The Omni driver also incurred minor injuries. Although, both vehicles were damaged in the accident.

A case has been registered by Kundapur traffic police.
