Bhatkal: The investiture of school leaders was held at New Shams School, Bhatkal on 6th July, Thursday.
The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and was followed by a beautiful Nath.
Chief guest of the event CPI, Bhatkal Mr. Suresh Nayak, Mr. Jailani Mohtesham, Abrarul Haq handed over the flag to the newly appointed council members who were then adored with slashes.
Head master New English School, Bhatkal Mr. M. K Naik addressed in his speech that discipline and dignity of the individual and the school are very crucial part of one’s life.
Promises for a better tomorrow were made by the new Head Boys Abid F A and Ismail Kakdey and Head Girls Ayesha Eifa and Sharzeen, in their respective speeches.
All the guests were welcomed by a teacher Raza Manvi along with a ceremonial procession of school leaders and dignitaries accompanied by House Colours.
The Shamsi tarana was sung melodiously by the 6th grade students.
This was followed by the entire council taking oath to discharge their duties with sincerity and fulfill everyone’s expectations.
