Dandeli: The second edition of the ‘Hornbill Festival’ will be organised by the State Forest and Tourism Departments on February 16 (Saturday) and 17, in the premises of Government Timber Yard in the town.

Forest, Ecology & Environment Minister Satish Jarkiholi will inaugurate the festival. Revenue Minister R V Deshpande will preside over the event. MP Ananth Kumar Hegde, MLC S L Ghotnekar, MLAs, MLCs, Zilla Panchayat president, vice-president and others will be the guests.

Green Oscar Award winner and noted wildlife photographer Krupakar Senani will deliver a speech on the occasion.On February 16 evening, various cultural programmes will be held and on February 17, the valedictory programme of Hornbill Festival will be held.
