Honnavar: Miscreants made away with two gold mangalsutras worth Rs 80,000 from a woman after attacking her on her head with a stick recently.

The victim woman was identifies as Prema Shet, a resident of Shantinagar in Honnavar.

The incident happened when Prema was moving towards Idagunji gram panchayat office from Idagunji temple, she was attacked by some unknown persons.

They beat her on her head from behind and made away with two mangalsutras worn by her.

Manki police have registered a case in this regard.
