Honnavar: A two-year-old boy who had drunk mosquito-repellent liquid on August 16 succumbed at the hospital on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Aarav Mahesh Naik of Kavoor village. The boy’s grandfather lodged a police complaint in this regard.

In the complaint, the grandfather has said that his daughter’s son Aarav had accidentally consumed a mosquito-repellent liquid kept on the ground on August 16. He was rushed to a private hospital but died two days later.

Police have registered a case.
