Honnavar: A raid was conducted by Honnavar police at a gambling center, where one person was taken into custody, while another managed to escape. However, search is being continued for another.

The raid was performed on basis of tip off at a gambling center in Mavinkora, Honnavar.

According to sources, the police have nabbed the owner of center Janardhan Gowda and cash amount of Rs. 3100 was seized from the spot. His friend Ganapathi Gowda, however managed to flee from the spot and is absconding.

The case has been registered at Honnavar police station.
