Karwar: Uttara Kannada District Administration on Friday evening declared holidays to all government and private PU Colleges and schools of coastal taluks in the district on Saturday, 26th October, owing to heavy rain in Coastal Karnataka. 

Deputy Commissioner Dr Harish Kumar on Friday evening issued orders calling on all colleges and schools to declare holiday on Saturday.

DDPI N.G.Nayak ordered the BEOs that tomorrow's classes shall be compensated on the alternate day, which will be informed later.
