Karwar: A goods train in Karwar railway station derailed after hitting a walking path. The train lost its balance on track and went outside the railway track after the incident. It is said that the train arrived from Andhra Pradesh to Karwar containing rations.

The train was arriving from Andhra to Karwar on the early morning of 19th July, Wednesday. The incident occurred when the train was stopping at the Karwar railway station. Due to the incident, the walking path was badly damaged and the impact made the train go out of its track.

Railway police along with the officials rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigations.
