Honnavar: In a horrific road accident of gas tanker toppling, the driver received multiple injuries, that happened on the morning of 1st August, Tuesday here at Honnavar-Gersoppa circle on NH-66 in the Honnavar town.

The incident occurred after the driver lost control of the speedily moving tanker. The spot of the incident also had a narrow curving. During the mishap, the tanker was moving from Mangaluru to Surat. 

Sources said, as the information regarding the incident was alerted, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and checked for any kind of gas leakage. At this moment, observing the safety, the traffic movement on the highway was kept on hold for a while. Luckily, there was no kind of gas leakage in the incident and the traffic was then allowed to flow.

It was gathered that, due to the incident, an atmosphere of tension was seen alongside the people present around the spot. Honnavar police rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigations.
