Bhatkal: Four tourists who were about to get washed away by the high tides at Murdeshwar beach in Bhatkal taluk were rescued by the lifeguard team on Tuesday, 8th October.
Police informed that a group of nearly 8 members had been to Murdeshwar on tour. While they were swimming in the sea, four people had gone stuck in the waves. When these people started drowning, the Life Guards team immediately rushed for their rescue and were successful in bringing them back to the shores.
The tourists were identified as Kavya, Pallavi, Chandrashekar and Basavaraj. The lifeguards who played a role in rescuing were Jayram, Shrikanth, Ravi and Chandrashekar.
