Mangaluru:  Four fishermen, who had ventured into the sea despite a warning by the Weather Department, were rescued as they were caught in the middle of the rough sea after their boat developed technical snag on Monday.

The fishermen, on Sunday, ventured into the sea on a boat owned by a man from Ullal Kodi. Due to a technical snag, they were stranded in the sea while returning back, sources said.

This morning another boat from Manajeshwar was sent and after repairing the boat they were brought back to the shore.
