Mangaluru: The Mangaluru South Anti Rowdy Squad personnel arrested three persons and seized 5 kg of ganja.

The arrested were selling ganja near the Kankanady Railway Station and near a hall at Arkula.

The police arrested Farooq T P alias Goods Farooq (51), a resident of Bunder, near Kankanady Railway Station and seized 2 kg ganja worth Rs 30,000, a car worth Rs 6 lakh and mobile phone worth Rs 20,000.

There are cases against Farooq in Cybercrime, Economic offences and Narcotics (CEN) station and at Kumble Police Station for sale of ganja.

The police also arrested Abid D (19) of Manjeshwara Kadavu and Juber alias Jubbi alias Shan (22) of Kadambar Kajekodi and seized 3 kg ganja worth Rs 45,000, a motorbike and three mobile phones. The duo was selling ganja near a hall at Arkula.
