Karwar: Five tourists hailing from Goa state, including four women feared drowned in Nagarmadi falls here at Chendiya in Karwar on 17th September, Sunday afternoon.

Sources informed that a group of 20 tourists from Margaon of Goa state had been to Karwar for a tour. They slipped while playing in water here at Nagarmadi falls, which as a result drowned. Amongst five drowned, four of them are women. Two bodies have been recovered.

A team of fire brigade personnel have rushed to the spot and is involved in search of the missing bodies.
