Karwar: Naval police officials have arrested a 27-year-old fishermen for illegally fishing in the water under the jurisdiction of the Seabird Naval Base here on Sunday.

The arrested has been identified as Pruthiviraj Agerkar, a resident of Mudagada village. He was later handed over to the rural police station.
