Mangaluru: In a recent press release, the Karnataka State Hajj Committee, stated that the first batch of travelers will depart for Hajj pilgrimage on 24th July, Monday from old airport of Mangaluru.
Following it, the next two batches will leave on 25th and 26th July respectively. In three consecutive days, 5 flights will be departing to Jeddah from Mangaluru.
The passengers travelling in the first batch will be boarding the 4:15 pm flight on Monday, while check in time is 1:30 pm in the noon. The state Hajj Committee will be organizing a farewell programme at 11:00 am, for the Hajis.
The programme will be inaugurated by State Hajj Committee President R Roshan Baig and following this, prayers will be offered by Dakshina Kannada Qazi Ahmed Musliyar and Udupi/Chikamangaluru/Hassan Qazi Ibrahim Musliyar.
District In-charge Minister Ramnath Rai, Minister UT Khader, MP Naleenkumar Katil, MLA’s will be present at the programe.
