New Delhi: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s net worth, declared for the financial year that ended in March, came down by Rs 2.83 crore. This was due to a reduction in his bank balance in different accounts and disposing of a BMW from his fleet of personal vehicles.

According to details on the PMO website (http://www.pmindia.gov.in/), Jaitley and his wife Sangeeta’s declared assets came down to Rs 69.13 crore in 2015-16. However, comparing his declaration for 2014-15 and 2015-16, the value of his immovable assets remained unchanged at Rs 35.21 crore.

The website indicates that only Jaitley and Minister for Science and Technology Y S Chowdary, who is from NDA ally TDP, have declared their assets and liabilities.
