Bhatkal: A prominent Bhatkali business tycoon Mr Muzaffar Kola passed due to cardiac arrest at Mangaluru hospital on Wednesday. He was hospitalized around two weeks back after he felt health issues. He was 73.

He breathed his last on Wednesday night around 11 PM after being unable to respond to the treatments. His mortal remains will be brought to Bhatkal after completing all the necessary paperworks.

Muzaffar Kola was known for running an educational institute Naunihal Central School in Bhatkal. He always kept himself engaged in helping financially to Madrasas and Educational institutions around India. He is the man who opened Bhatkal's famous Shopping complex 'Aysha Plaza'. He was also a Managing Director at the famous Kolaco hospital in Bhatkal. 

His demise is regarded as the great loss to the Bhatkal community.
