Karwar: More than 200 candidates were interviewed to fill the outsourced post of computer operator (skilled English typist) in the District Secretariat’s legal cell.

There were large number of female candidates than men. Some candidates returned without taking the interview after witnessing huge crowd.

“We expected 15 to 20 people would attend the interview. But candidates have come beyond expectation. Even if outsourced, the applicant gets monthly salary of Rs 17,542 according to government policy. Engineering and postgraduates attended the interview“, said Additional Deputy Commissioner H Prasanna.
