Honnavar: An elderly man was killed after a bike in which he was riding was hit by an unidentified vehicle on NH-206 near Kavalakki in Honnavar taluk.

The deceased is identified as Arvind Vithoba Shanbhag (67) of Kudla village.

Arvind, who was injured in the accident, was taken to the hospital but he succumbed to the injuries.

Police have registered a case.
