Bhatkal: A man who recently returned from Dubai was tested positive for Coronavirus and has been shifted to COVID ward at KIMS hospital in Karwar today.

According to sources, the man, a resident of Kargadde in Bhatkal, had reached Bhatkal from Dubai via Mangalore Airport on June 18. He was first officially quarantined in Udupi, later with the efforts of Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem, he was quarantined in a private hotel. Today his reports were recieved as positive for COVID-19.

It is learned that the infected was shifted from Bhatkal to KIMS hospital in Karwar immediately after his reports were confirmed.
