Karwar: Dr K Harishkumar, who was serving as the Assistant commissioner of Bhatkal earlier and was the chief executive officer of Chamarajanagar zilla panchayat, has been appointed as the new Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada district, while deputy commissioner S S Nakul has been transferred as the director of Information Technology & Biotechnology Department, Bengaluru.

Speaking to media, SS Nakul, who served as the deputy commissioner of Uttara Kannada district for around two years, talked about his experience in the district. He said that his work in the district gave him satisfaction.

He was also thankful that he received timely co-operation from the people, officers and also the media while executing various ideas.
