Kumta: "A stretch of the national highway from Honmav to Maneer in Kumta will be developed soon. A fund of 4.75 crores has been granted for this", informed Kumta MLA Dinakar Shetty.

Speaking to presspersons, MLA said that lease tenders have been invited. The work shall begin in November and high-quality tar will be applied. An amount of 93 lakhs rupees too has been granted by the government for the repairs of Kumta-Sirsi state highway, which has formed a number of potholes due to recent rainfall.

Soon both the works will be started. He requested the motorists to co-operate until the completion of works.
