Dandeli: Under the leadership of Vishwanathrao Deshpande Memorial Trust, the ‘Dandeli Utsav’ will be organised on February 16 
and 17, at Delux Ground in the town.

As part of Dandeli Utsav, a live musical programme Madhura Madhuravi Manjula Gana, being conducted by Chandana TV will be held from 5:00 pm onwards on February 16. During the programme, music and dance performance will be presented by the selected local artistes. Meanwhile, junior Amitabh Bachchan and junior Govinda will present special music and dance programmes. 

Prize distribution

on February 17, prize distribution will be held for the winners of various competitions, held as part of the Dandeli festival. Later, Bengaluru-based Ability India team will 
host a Miracle on wheels programme and Bollywood fame singer Rajdeep Chatarji and his team will host a rasamanjari event.

Miss Wheelchair India Artist Rajalakshmi S J will inaugurate the festival on February 16 and Dr Mallikarjun Mansur Youth Awardee Subhangi Jadhav will inaugurate the events on February 17.

VRDM Trust President and Minister R V Deshpande will preside over.

MLC S L Ghotnekar and others will be present during the programme. Various competitions will be held for students, youth and senior citizens from 8:30 onwards on February 16 and 17, said VRDM Trust Administrative Officer Prakash Prabhu in a press release.
