Karwar: As many as 36 new cases of Coronavirus have been confirmed in Uttara Kannada district today on Monday, taking the tally of infected persons to 633.

Among the 36 new cases, 7 cases are from Bhatkal, 6 from Haliyal, 4 from Honnavar, 2 from Karwar, 14 from Kumta, 1 from Sirsi, and 2 from Yellapur.

In the district, as many as 254 people have recovered and 374 are the active cases.
