Karwar: More 18 patients from Uttara Kannada district who were infected with novel Coronavirus were cured and discharged from KIMS hospital in Karwar on Saturday.

A total of 39 patients were undergoing treatment at KIMS in Karwar after few of them were discharged on Friday. However, today on Saturday, eighteen more patients including one-year old toddler and a 35 year old woman was discharged from the hospital after their reports came as negative for Coronavirus. 

With this, the Uttara Kannada district now has a total of 21 active cases that are undergoing treatment at KIMS hospital.
