Udupi: Udupi Railway Yathri Sangha has urged the district administration to initiate measures to construct a railway bridge, at Indrali, on NH 169 (A). 

A delegation led by Sangha president R L Dias met Additional DC Sadashiva Prabhu on Monday and submitted a memorandum. 

Responding to the demand, the additional DC spoke to the Konkan Railway officials over phone to discuss the issue. Later, he also promised to convene a meeting of the officials of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and Railways to sort out technical problems in building the bridge.
