Sirsi: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dinesh Gundu Rao has stated that if Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa files a defamation case against Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah, the truth behind the Operation Lotus will come out.

Speaking during an election campaign in favour of party candidate Bheemanna Naik here on Thursday, he said, there is an audio file of Operation Lotus. MLA Srinivas Gouda spoke about this issue in the assembly. Ramesh Jarkiholi has publicly said about the co-operation extended by both Amit Shah and Yediyurappa in the resignation of 17 MLAs. What other documents one needs to prove the involvement of BJP leaders in the resignation of disqualified MLAs, he questioned.

 “Congress will be in profit if Yediyurappa files a defamation case against Congress leader Siddarmaiah,” he added. On by-polls, Dinesh said, the BJP will hardly win two seats in the by-polls.BJP has gained an artificial majority and come to power. But it will unstable soon after the by-polls. The BJP leaders were tried for one-and-half years to collapse the coalition government, however, now they are blaming Congress for that move, he added.
