Honnavar: A 20-Year-Old college student committed suicide by hanging herself to the roof of the house here at Keravalli village in Honnavar taluk on Saturday afternoon, 24th August.

The deceased is identified as Nayana Ishwar Naik.

She was a student of final year B.Sc at SDM degree college in Honnavar. The reason behind taking this extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
