CM to launch various development projects in Ballari

Ballari: Various development works to be launched by chief minister Siddaramaiah in Ballari city Assembly constituency on 25th July, said MLA Anil Lad.

Anil issued a statement here on Saturday stating that the Chief minister will give title deeds of 20x30 residential plots to 5,000 people. The plots will be given to the beneficiaries under Ashraya Scheme.

He also said that foundation stones will also be laid by the CM to construct around 1,600 houses in order to provide housing facilities to those living in huts. The cost of this project has been estimated to Rs.90 crores.

Another project will be undertaken by the CM for which the estimated cost is Rs.6 crores. In this project, Siddaramaiah will lay foundation stone for laying cement concrete roads in localities of the people belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

The CM will also lay foundation stone for laying pipelines from HLC canal to Allipura lake to provide continuous drinking water supply to the city residents. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 9.5 crore.

The foundation stone will be also be laid for a women’s degree college which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore.

Seven purified water supply units will also be inaugurated by the CM in various wards. The units are set up at a cost of Rs 80 lakh. Siddaramaiah will also launch development works of PU women’s college. The college will be developed at a cost of Rs 3 crore.

The CM will also lay foundation stone for CC road works, parks and multigyms to be taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 13.50 crore and swimming pool works to be taken up at a cost of Rs 2 crore, the release stated.
