Udupi: Manipal police arrested a chain-snatcher from Manchikodi.

The arrested is Praveen Naik who had snatched the chain of Lalitha, while she was on her way to work (Manipal Press). Incidentally, Lalitha had suspected involvement of Praveen Naik, who was residing in the same area, in the crime.Based on her information, the police nabbed the accused and recovered half a piece of the gold chain, worth Rs 9,000. He was remanded in judicial custody after being produced in court.
