Mangaluru: An aide of notorious gangster Ravi Poojary was arrested by Central Crime Branch (CCB) police recently for allegedly making extortion calls to people, Police said on Wednesday

They further said that the arrested Ghulam was produced before the court and was remanded to 10-day police custody.

According to the police, Ghulam was acting on the directions of Poojary.
